These are along the north coast.

On the eastern shore of the Tamar River this light marks the entrance to the river which is navigable as far as Launceston.

On the East Coast:

Built to help larger ships navigate down the east coast.

In the south:

Cape Bruny Lighthouse

At the entrance to the Derwent.

 

Macquarie Harbour:

This has a very narrow entrance, Hell's Gate, marked by 2 lights, Entrance Island on the northern side of the channel and Bonnet Island on the southern side as well as a light on Cape Sorell to the south.

There is a larger area of water north of these islands towards Macquarie Head but it is very shallow.
